Below is a drawing of a typical IBG style pool enclosure bay. Base rests on purlins. At left and right polycarbonate inserts into pocket that has inside dimension of 15/16", so the pocket will easily accept 16mm polycarbonate. Insert 3/8" closed cell backer rod to tightly hold polycarbonate in place. The backer rod will also provide a back stop for placement of silicone. Use only polyethylene backer rod from Copperstate Roofing Supply. Dimension from inside of pocket on left I-beam to inside of pocket on right I-beam is about 98.5". Fasten Base to purlins at top, bottom & at mid points. Slide polycarbonate into pockets, rest on base and fasten Cap. U-Profile is typically used on lower edge. One 8 ft. length will not be enough for the 98.5" run. Aluminum tape is most often used to close cells at tp of sheet. Call 888-775-6176 with questions.
