Screw: 1022 carbon steel, heat treated with Dacromet Coating on wood screws and zinc plating on self-drill screws.
Dacromet Coating: Our standard screws are hardened carbon steel with a special Dacromet Coating. This screw is appropriate for all species of wood. The ACQ chemical on pressure treated may corrode the screw if the coating is burned off during fastening, so set screws slowly. We can not guarantee that these screws will not corrode in ACQ lumber, but this is the best option we currently have.
Pull Out: Pounds of pressure required to pull screw out of yellow pine.
Shear: Lbs. of pressure required to shear screw if adjacent to typical metal roofing.
Self-Drill w/ #3 Point - Maximum Drilling: Steel .110 (12 gauge) to .175 (8 ga.)
Contact Sundance if using on steel thicker than 3/16", stainless steel or aluminum.

Bulb-Tite Rivets are made from high strength aluminum. High clamping force, without cracking polycarbonate. Can not be over driven and can not strip out. Rivets function in oversize and irregular holes. EPDM washers for positive water-tight resistance. Rivets may be pulled with electric, pneumatic and heavier duty manual guns.
