• End wall frame determined by wall size, 1/4" space between sheets, studs as needed.
• For nominal 4 ft on-center spacing (48" sheet), outside of frame to center of 1st & last member 48-1/4". Intermediates 48-1/4" o.c. Blocking supporting sheet required. Spacer at center of blocking, eliminates sheet bowing and allows condensation to move past blocking. Set blocking 3/8" back from outer surface of frame.
• Seal top & bottom plate and where polycarb. comes in contact with wood with satin or flat marine spar or exterior varnish. Finish decreases likelihood of wood rot and eliminates wood discoloration. Expanding & contracting polycarb. moves on surface. After fully dry spray ArmorAll on rag and wipe surface facing poly., decreasing movement noise. Semi & gloss paint are high friction finishes, noise may result. If painting frame use flat paint on surfaces facing polycarbonate. Stains may react with polycarb. If staining frame use spar or exterior varnish is final finish layer. Let dry, spray ArmorAll on rag and wipe surface facing polycarb.
