The resins used to make
multi-wall polycarbonate are specially developed for excellent
flame retardant properties. This material is classified as
Self-Extinguishing. Compared with other thermoplastic products
used in the building industry, it does not encourage flames. Above
all it does not give off toxic gases. If this information is
required for a permit, print these pages and present to your
building department. Specifications are the similar for all thicknesses of
polycarbonate.
