Our standard self drilling screws for metal frames are carbon steel, with a zinc plating. These screws are fine for steel frames. Aluminum causes a galvanic reaction with steel and corrosion will occur, so Stainless Steel is recommended.

 

The online order forms require that you tell us the frame type. Select aluminum and this initiates a dialog box to appear, discussing your Stainless Steel option.
