6mm Polycarbonate:-----------Quoting & Ordering

We get few orders for 6mm. There are good reasons for this.

. 

Every order requires crating & shipping, the actual price savings over 8mm may be minimal.

 

There is no anti-condensate coating on the inboard surface of the sheet. Condensation droplets will develop on inboard surface in greenhouse and pool enclosure applications.

. 

There is also no Aluminum U-Profile for 6mm, only a polycarbonate U-Profile.

 

Our Base & Cap System will not work with 6mm.

 

This thickness is primarily used to replace glass in aluminum frame greenhouses that will only accept 1/4" glazing or when cost crucial. This glazing may also be used as replacement panels in older commercial greenhouses as replacement panels.

That said, we are happy to accept orders for 6mm polycarbonate.
